He is a specialist in Dental Prosthesis at the APCD/Bauru, São Paulo, Brazil; Specialist in Implantology at the Federal Dental Council (CFO), Brazil; MSc in Oral Rehabilitation at the Federal University of Uberlandia, Brazil; PhD in Oral Rehabilitation at the São Paulo University/FORP, Brazil with collaborative research at the Eastman Dental Institute, London. Professor at ILAPEO, Latin American Institute of Dental Research and Education, Brazil. He’s also the Director of New Product Development & Clinical Practice at Neodent.
Dr Bernardes has published three books in Brazil about oral implants, immediate loading, guided surgery, and Dental Prostheses applied to implants. His main research fields are biomechanics and clinical investigation, and he has international scientific publications.
